Behavioral Health Attendant Care Worker
Description:
The Behavioral Health Attendant Care Worker works as part of a treatment team to deliver services to adults and children with severe mental illnesses and behavioral disorders. The Behavioral Health Attendant Care Worker will assist with symptom management, provide crisis support, assist in developing coping skills, and respond effectively in a wide variety of human service situations.
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be familiar with community resources
Behavioral Health Case Manager
Description
The Behavioral Health Case Manager works as part of a treatment team to deliver services to adults and children with severe mental illnesses and behavioral disorders. The Behavioral Health Case Manager will provide community psychiatric supportive treatment to allow persons with severe mental illnesses to live their lives as fully and independently as possible.
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a BA/BS degree with an emphasis in a human service field
• Must be familiar with community resources
Psychotherapist / Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
Description
The Qualified Mental Health Professional will provide outpatient psychotherapy (individual, family, group) as part of a growing and dynamic community mental health center serving rural and frontier counties. The QMHP works as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team and is responsible for person and family centered treatment planning, discharge planning, and crisis planning. Consumer service hour expectation is 1050 direct service hours per year.
Qualifications:
• Must have a master’s degree in social work, psychology, professional counseling, or marriage and family counseling
• Must be licensed or licensable with the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board
• Must maintain high professional and ethical standards
• Must be willing to live and work as part of rural and frontier communities
